Evaluation of Antidepressant Activity from Fragaria Ananassa

Objective: The goal of this study is to find out how Fragaria Ananassa (strawberries) affects serotonin levels and mouse immobility duration during the different tests performed in mice evaluate antidepressant effects FragariaAnanassa. Methods: Antidepressant compared with Standard drugs by performing a Forced Swim Test Tail Suspension on albino mice. was administered two distinct groups animals dosages 5ml 10ml. Normal saline given control group Imipramine (Standard Antidepressant) group. Drugs were orally, behavioral 30 minutes later. Results: at dose 10 ml had substantial anti-depressant impact lowering both Test. Conclusion: has no significant difference from our standard medication (Imipramine).
